Gateways is very pleased to announce that Kris has been named our
agency’s direct support professional of the year, and will be recognized at the CPNRI event
next month. Since joining our team almost a year ago, Kris has been very flexible and adaptable-- he is challenged every day to be quick thinking, solution minded, and creative. He has worked in some of our most challenging programs, and has brought great results. Kris has exposed people to new settings and experiences and has gently taken them out of their comfort zone to provide experiences for personal growth and developing of new interest, providing the correct amount of support to ensure success. As a result of his positive approach to situations, individuals have interesting and inclusive lives. Kris is a positive person and as such, approaches difficult situations in a positive way. He possesses a “can do” spirit, which is reassuring to the individuals he works with, helping them to believe in themselves and in what they can accomplish.
